Terms of Use

Last updated: June 3, 2026

By accessing and using BrowserTools (https://browser-tools.net), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Use of tools

BrowserTools provides free, browser-based utility tools for personal and professional use. You may use these tools for any lawful purpose. You agree not to use them in ways that:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Attempt to overload, attack, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures.
  • Use automated scrapers or bots to access the service beyond what is permitted by our sitemap for search engine indexing.

2. No warranties

All tools on BrowserTools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the tools will be error-free, accurate, complete, or available at any particular time.

Results produced by calculators, converters, validators, and generators are provided for informational purposes only. For important decisions — financial, legal, medical, or otherwise — always verify results independently or consult a qualified professional.

3. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BrowserTools and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or its tools, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

4. Intellectual property

The BrowserTools brand, design, and original written content are the property of their respective creators. Individual tool implementations may incorporate open-source libraries; those libraries are subject to their own licences, which are available in the project repository.

The retro game emulator module allows you to load ROM files from your own device. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any ROM files you load are legally owned by you or are in the public domain. BrowserTools does not distribute, host, or endorse ROM files and is not responsible for any copyright infringement resulting from user-supplied content.

5. External links and advertising

The site may contain links to third-party websites and display advertisements provided by Google AdSense. BrowserTools is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any external site. Advertising placements are clearly marked and separated from tool content.

6. Changes to the service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice. We may also update these terms; continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and applicable member-state law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction in which the site operator is based.
